How to Make Mac and Cheese?
The first step is to boil pasta; most of the people overcook the paste and ruin the dish. Mac and cheese is not all about the cheese sauce; you need to make sure your pasta is cooked perfectly.
Take about 8 -10 cups of water and boil in a large pot over high heat. Sprinkle a pinch of salt once the water starts to boil and add pasta. Cook for 2 mins and drain well. Now, rinse the pasta with cold water to prevent it from overcooking.
Mix the pasta and liquid cheese sauce together thoroughly. It doesn’t end here; there is still some tricks to make mac and cheese more delicious. You need to bake the mac and cheese to give it a golden crust.
Pour the mac and cheese into a casserole dish, sprinkle some shredded cheese on top and cover it with aluminum foil. Bake it for 30 mins at 350°F. Remove the cover and sprinkle breadcrumbs, butter, and bake for another 20 minutes or until the sauce bubbles around the edges.
