The Ninja Blender – Enjoy Great Smoothies With The Ninja Blender NJ600 XL

Ninja Blender NJ600 XL

If you are looking for a best Ninja blender that comes at a price you can afford, the Ninja Blender NJ600 XL may be just the blender you are looking for. With 1100 watts of power, this handy kitchen tool can be used for blending, pureeing and crushing ice.

While many people love this blender, some are not so happy. The biggest reason for not liking this blender is that some claim that it does not blend smoothies smooth enough. Keep reading to find out more.

What are you getting?

The Ninja Blender comes with a 72 oz pitcher (made of BPA – Free SAN plastic) and a stainless steel 6 blade assembly.

There are 3 speeds on this blender as well as a pulse option. Use these for mixing, blending and ice-crushing. Use the pulse button for chopping and controlled processing.

The pitcher, lid, and blade assembly is dishwasher safe. It is recommended to put the lid and blade assembly on the top rack. If you don’t want to use the dishwasher, you can just rinse out, fill 3/4th full of warm/hot water with a drop of soap, then hit the pulse button a couple times.

What can you make?

Some things you can make with the Ninja Blender include:

  • delicious smoothies made from frozen fruits
  • creamy soft serve ice creams and sorbets.
  • juice made from fruits and vegetables with added water / ice (the fiber is retained since this is not a juice extractor)
  • various nut butters made from grinding nuts
  • gazpacho
  • hummus
  • bread crumbs

You cannot use the Ninja blender to:

  • Make hot soups from cold ingredients
  • Mix dough

Does it blend smoothly?

The design of the blades is different than your average blender. One owner said that she has learned to make great smoothies by starting at speed 3 to coarsely chop the ingredients, then Pulse a few times and then finish with speed 3 again for fantastic smoothies.

I think that because the way the blades are designed, this blender may require more liquid than some people are putting in. If there is not enough liquid, the ingredients do not move around enough to get blended well. Many owners have said that once they learned to add more liquid and blend a little longer than they had been doing, the smoothies they made were delicious and smooth.

For those who are comparing this to the Blendtec or the Vitamix, as one reviewer stated – these are completely different categories of blenders and you should not compare them. Ninja blenders are top rated blenders and are better than any other blender in this price range. Read more at https://www.juicingnation.com
